Synopsis

Reeasha Rogers, a.k.a. “Re-Re”, is a 19 yr. old mother who doesn’t take life, relationships, or motherhood seriously. Growing up as the “hot chick” in the hood, she is used to getting whatever she wants. When Brian, her live-in boyfriend and father to their 3 year old daughter, no longer excites her, Re-Re seeks pleasure elsewhere. Her reckless behavior places her in a life-threatening situation and also puts her family at risk. For the first time, Re-Re must face the consequences of her actions.

Overview

'Consequences' is a gripping portrayal of the deterioration of the American family. It exposes a vicious cycle of ignorance, irresponsibility, poor parenting, and violent behavior passed down from one generation to another. The characters emulate the impetuousness displayed by many of today’s young adults. As in life, each character must acknowledge the choices they’ve made and accept the repercussions. This suspenseful tale parallels issues faced by a growing number of American families. It also urges us to examine the negligence of our society... a society that accepts the disintegration of families merely as a form of entertainment.
